Costa Rica Coffee
Costa Rican coffees are often considered as some of the best in south/central America, with high grown altitudes and a pleasant acidity. Its typical flavor profile includes a brown-sugary sweetness, citrus and apricot notes. It is believed that Costa Rica began Coffee production in 1779, it has the ideal soil and climate conditions for coffee bean plantations. Costa Rica is the only country in the world where a law was passed in 1989 preventing the growth of anything but Arabica beans (the finest in the world).
